lehu乐虎官网Collaborate to Innovate 2020, a major awards campaign run by The Engineer magazine is now open for entries.
lehu乐虎官网Now in its fifth year, Collaborate to Innovate (C2I 2020) - which is supported by EPSRC - was established to uncover and celebrate the UK’s most innovative collaborative engineering projects. The competition is open to any innovative engineering project, whether from industry or academia, that represents a collaboration between two or more separate organisations and has had, or is likely to have, a demonstrable impact in its area of application.
lehu乐虎官网Entries are invited from projects addressing fundamental engineering challenges across nine categories including healthcare, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing technology, energy, defence, and data and connectivity.
lehu乐虎官网Commenting on the launch of C2I 2020 Jon Excell, editor of The Engineer said: “Collaboration between groups of engineers and across disciplines is critical to solving some of the biggest challenges we face as a society and the C2I awards was set up to celebrate this. Myself and the C2I judging panel are really excited about seeing what fascinating projects and innovations this year’s competition uncovers.”
This year’s competition also features a category specifically focussed on school student engineering projects: Young Innovator, which will celebrate the achievements of the next generation of engineers. The campaign is open to entries with immediate effect with a final submission deadline of Friday 10 July 2020. An invited team of expert judges, including Dr Samantha Francis, EPSRC Deputy Director- Research Base, will then select winners in each category.
